SPANISH 2:
- Homework due Monday, 2/3/20:
- Practice Direct Object Pronouns
- For each sentence, find the direct object noun, underline it, then write the direct object pronoun that would replace it: (You need to know what the sentence means)
- Yo tengo la camisa en mi casa.
- ¿Necesitas el coche?
- Escuchamos el radio.
- Yo doy el libro a Maria.
- ¿Ven ustedes a las muchachas?
- El medico examina el pie.
- Maria lea libros mucho.
- Ellos beben su leche.
- El estudiante necesita su calculadora.
- Jugamos basquetbol cuando tengo tiempo. (pay attention!)
- Now re-write the sentences above using direct object pronouns (correct placement) and make sure to pay attention to verb conjugations if they change when answering questions.
- Now, translate each sentence to Spanish using a direct object pronoun for the nouns:
- I do not watch the television.
- You all study the maps.
- We eat the vegetables.
- My brother looks for me.
- The teacher needs you.
- Study: Vocabulary Chapters 5 & 6, clothing, body parts & animals from handout, Ch. 5 stem-changing verbs, gustar/interesar/aburrir, and direct object pronouns.

- Yo como el arroz.

- debajo de (below)
- cerca de (near)
- lejos de (far).
