Spanish 2:

Homework FOR WEDNESDAY is to practice what you are having trouble with for verb conjugations, meanings of verbs, Direct & Indirect object pronouns, possessive adjectives.

Spanish 1:

ALL OF THIS WORK IS REVIEW. After last test, these are topics that greatly need reviewed on!!! It IS a LOT of work, however IF YOU DO IT, it will help to bring up your grade after the test.

DUE WEDNESDAY: Page 137 section 2 This is the only new concept due
DUE WEDNESDAY: Review work:

Page 31 section 1 AND do the "Expansion" underneath using un, una, unos, unas.
Page 33 section 6 (#1-8) Just write the word for the blank.
Page 47 section 6 (#26-30) Just write the word for the blank.
Page 81 section 4 (#26-31) AND section 5 (#32-37) Just write the word for the blank.
Page 103 section 7 (#1-7) Just write the letter.
Page 106 section 11 (#1-8)
Page 116 section 3 (#16-22) Just write the word for the blank.

DUE THURSDAY:

Have reviewed page 99 section 4 AND page 107 "contractions" then do page 117 section 6 (#30-34)

Spanish 2:

Due Tuesday: Page 198 sections 2 & 3; page 199 section 5.
Don't forget homework from last week. We will go over this tomorrow as well.

Handout Capitulo 2: page 24 Paragraph Completion #1-6
Handout Capitulo 3: page 37 Reading Comprehension #1-4, and page 39 Paragraph Completion #1-10

Test Chapter 3 Wednesday (Remember vocabulary at end of chapter (p.121) and on Quizlet, verbs for chapter, regular -ar verbs, and remember to review Possessive Adjectives, tener, ser and estar.)

Week 2/4-2/7

Spanish 2:

Homework tonight for Tuesday: Handout sections 10.3, 10.4, & 10.5.
Tuesday Class:

Watch video on Arcos de la Frontera, and Ronda.
Read handout pages 7-11 & complete sections 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, & 10.10.

For Monday: Handout-page11 #2,3,5,10,11; page 13 # 4,6,8,10,14; and do the Reading Comprehension "Ir de compras" page 13 and answer questions 1-3 on page 14

Spanish 1:

Homework for Wednesday: page 103 section 7, page 106 section 11, page 117 section 6
For Thursday, finish sections that you did not get finished during class.
For Monday:

Complete page 116 sections 2 & 3, and page 123 section 6.
Make sure to study vocabulary from Chapter 3, regular -ar verbs and their meanings, irregular verbs from the chapter, and the contractions ("al" and "del").
Test on Chapter 3 will be coming up in the next week.

Homework is worth a large part of your overall grade. It is important that you stay on top of your assignments.

If you are struggling with a concept, please arrange a time to meet so that additional help can be given prior to a quiz/test.

Homework must be COMPLETED and with you in class, not at home or in your locker. If you do not have it in class, you may have the option of completing it for partial credit according to the absent policy below. If you otherwise fail to turn in your homework, you will receive a zero for the assignment.

On your third missed assignment, a notice will be sent home for your parents to sign and return. If three additional assignments are missed, a parent/teacher conference will be scheduled.

If you were absent, you will be given a day to make up the assignment and it will be due the following. (Spanish days are-Mon/Wed).

IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO COPY ANOTHER PERSON'S WORK. If you are found to have done this, you will be given a zero for the assignment and be subject to disciplinary action.
