6th Grade Homework:
 
 

1) MAKE SURE TO MEMORIZE:

PRONOUNS:
yo=I
tu=you (familiar)
el=he
ella=she
usted=you
nosotros(as)=we
ellos/ellas=they
ustedes=you (pleural)
 
Know how to choose the correct pronoun based on who the sentence is referring to, such as: If it says Maria, you use the pronoun for "she" which is ella. If it says Carlos y Lucia, you use the pronoun for "they" which is ellos, and so on...Examples of this can be found in your book throughout chapters 2 and 3. 
 
 

2) MAKE SURE TO MEMORIZE:

CONJUGATION OF THE VERB "SER":
yo=soy
tu=eres
el/ella, usted=es
nosotros(as)=somos
ellos/ellas, ustedes=son
 
 
 

3)On the worksheet for Leccion 3, do the following sections:

  • Section C: Quien=who, quienes=who when talking about pleural. To form the question, you will have to look at the answer. Remember vocabulary comes from the first page of the chapter. May also use your diccionario.

  • Section D: Make sure to pay attention to gender and singular or pleural nouns. There is only one correct answer.

  • Section E: Refer to the section in Leccion 3 in your book under Estructura. You are choosing el/la/los/las based on the nouns.

  • Section F: It gives you a couple sentences about Marisa y Elena. You then write 4  statements about them. As per the example you will begin each sentence with "Marisa y Elena son_________________."

  • Section G: It gives you a couple sentences about Paco y Enrique. You then write 4 statements about them. As per the example you will begin each sentence with "Paco y Enrique son_________________."

  • Pasatiempos: Using the Vocabulary at the beginning of the previous chapters 1-3, write the OPPOSITES of the given words.

 

4)In your book: page 40, Ejercicio 5. Watch the gender and singular vs pleural. 

 
 
 

7th/8th GradesHomework:

  • Mas Vocabulario y Cultura: Just answer the questions based on the paragraph. TRY TRANSLATING THE PROVERB. (Use your diccionarios if needed.)

  • Pasatiempos: Using the Vocabulary at the beginning of the previous chapters 1-3, write the OPPOSITES of the given words.

 
 
4) Quiz Monday on Leccion 2. Review Vocabulary on the first page of the chapter as well as concepts throughout chapter. You will need to know the pronouns and conjugation of SER as above.
   
9th/10th Grades Homework:

Begin memorizing vocabulary at the end of Chapter 2 on page 81 in your book.
